The location is decent. The place looks nothing like the photos; the TV seemed from 1998, the floor was dirty, and no towels were provided. When I asked for one, the towel returned had blood marks, and the bed was uncomfortable. The neighbors were blasting music at 3 am. 👍

The staff are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. Staying a few days is fine. The hotel is very run-down, both the room and common areas. There’s chaos everywhere, the kitchenette with microwave, kettle, and toaster is always dirty. Wi‑Fi works only at reception and the first floor, not higher, so if you need to work you’ll have to stay under the entrance all the time.

There isn’t much to like about the hotel itself; the only good thing is its proximity to the sea front. It was disgusting all around. Every room was either moldy, dusty, with dirty walls, mattresses turned over with blood stains, hair on the duvets, or toilets flushed with brown water. The reception smelled horrendous. The staff seemed clueless and were living in the front room together. I appreciate that it was extremely cheap, but that’s the price you pay. Coffee and tea facilities were offered, but the cup was dirty and the kettle dusty. The TV worked, though. I’d avoid it if you can afford a better place.

The staff were lovely and the bedding was fresh and clean. The room decor and fixtures needed an update, and we had no toilet paper, towels, or soap.

The best part was handing the keys back and ending the stay. The hotel smelled like BO and was damp, which was disgusting. The shower was moldy, the curtain was moldy, the ceiling had water marks from a leak, and the wallpaper was peeling. The mattress was so uncomfortable you could feel every spring and hear it; both of us were sore from sleeping on it. The room was tiny, barely fitting a double bed. The sink was oddly placed outside the bathroom, which seemed to be a converted cupboard; it was tiny and covered in mold around the taps. The downstairs reception area smelled of BO, was cluttered with kids’ toys, and was very untidy and unpleasant. We didn’t even get a proper morning greeting; when we handed back the keys we said “that’s us checking out” and all we got was “Okay.” There was no Wi‑Fi, and there was no breakfast, which I wouldn’t have taken even if offered. This place is not fit to be called a “Hotel.” I would not recommend it or return. It’s absolutely disgusting; don’t even get me started on the windows—they don’t look like they’ve been cleaned since they were new. The 5‑star reviews are also FAKE! Especially with no comments. If it’s 5 stars you would absolutely say why. The review added above me was posted 20 minutes after I posted the truth. Look at the photos; they speak for themselves and do the place justice.
