We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Pensiunea Perla Durău. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and exuding a peaceful vibe, ideal for unwinding. The room was tidy and comfortable, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. Everything ran smoothly, and we appreciated the calm atmosphere. Overall, we had a great experience and felt the pension offered excellent value. We’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil escape in Durău.

The room was comfortable, clean, and warm thanks to underfloor heating. A few items need repair or replacement, but they’re not critical—there are no towel hooks in the bathroom, and the shower door was completely missing.

I stayed just one night at Pensiunea Perla and felt very comfortable. The owner is an extremely kind and welcoming lady; you can see she puts her heart into her work and wants guests to feel at ease. The property is well maintained and clean. There’s ample parking and a courtyard with swings shared with two other guesthouses, but that didn’t bother us at all. Breakfast isn’t offered, yet there’s a well-equipped communal kitchen where you can make coffee or a quick meal, which is very convenient. All in all, a pleasant experience and a great choice for a stay in Durău. A minor improvement could be the mattresses, which feel a bit worn and could use replacement. For a single night it wasn’t an issue and we slept well, but for a longer stay some might notice.
