“Homestay vibe and run by a gentleman!”
This place feels like a real homestay—basically an upstairs hostel inside an apartment. It’s simple but charming, with a cute kitchen that has a fridge and filtered water, and a nice little roof terrace. The owner is amazing; he was very responsive on WhatsApp, easy to talk to, and went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed Baguio. He cut the price on my second night, got me an extension plug when I needed a different type, even brought my backpack and drove me from town, waiting at the bus station to get the right transport. A truly decent human! Thanks. The shower room was basic but worked fine. The first room was a triple bunk; I had it to myself. The top bunk was high and wobbly, no rail, privacy could be an issue if shared with strangers, but it wasn’t a problem for me. No lockers for valuables. The location is down a steep hill; it’s a mountain town, so it required a bit of effort and wasn’t straightforward to find at night. All minor details.
