The location is great, but the staff were unhelpful during booking – I never heard back about my room request, the rooms felt very outdated, and both check‑in and check‑out took an excessive amount of time.

The pool and breakfast were nice, but I could hear the chip‑wood heating system humming.

The location is superb and the property is clean; the breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the restaurant dishes were good, yet the staff did not create a “welcome atmosphere,” which is subjective. We seem to have been assigned the oldest, unrenovated rooms – a bathtub without a proper shower divider and shower trays with about 20 cm entry height are outdated, and overall the property feels out of step with its price.

The lakeside location is dreamy, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are attentive, though the single room is cramped but acceptable for a one‑night stay.

The hotel and staff are fine, but the restaurant listed a pink roasted beef between Backhendl and Perlhuhnbrust on the menu, which I ordered expecting a tasty steak with fries. Instead I received a cold, sliced rump steak that was not mentioned on the menu. It seemed the chef, after my companion had already ordered a cold dish and it was getting late, chose to cut a leftover steak rather than reheat it. The overall experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it.
