Hotel Borovi Forest Resort & Spa

The sports and spa facilities are great, and there's a nice walking path in the forest (borovi); the location is also very good, giving overall good value for money. However, breakfast could definitely be better for a hotel of this level. Another issue is that the hotel has no air conditioning, which becomes a necessity in summer, even though the mountain setting keeps mornings and evenings fresh. The staff are okay but could be much more welcoming; they are fine but nothing more.

“Not worth the price, in our opinion.”

The place was very clean, but for the price it didn't feel worth it. The hot tub wasn't hot, and there were cigarettes by it. The fitness center was closed without notice, and the shower water was never hot. It's an odd place compared to others around (hotels are one third the price). One front desk staff member was courteous, but everyone else was unfriendly and seemed only interested in charging for everything, like coffee, even though the coffee machine was broken.

The hotel is wonderful and provided a truly beautiful experience. Everything was top‑level, from cleanliness, ambiance, and food to the spa center itself. I especially praised the spa staff, who were extremely friendly, professional, and pleasant. They really made us feel welcome and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. The hotel is stunning, surrounded by nature, and offers exactly what we needed—peace, rest, and enjoyment. We will definitely return! All recommendations. ❤️
