Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Rome NY

“We would definitely book a reservation another time. This location was close to family.”

I appreciated the variety at breakfast, even over our two‑day stay there were different options, plenty of oatmeal toppings and yogurt add‑ins. The water from the juice dispenser didn’t taste very good.

I had access to a washing machine/dryer. Breakfast offered a good variety.

“The woman who checked me n needs more customers service training.”

I booked a king bed and paid for it, but when I arrived the staff said the king rooms were over‑sold and I wasn’t offered any alternative; the room itself was mostly clean and the breakfast was pretty good, but I wish they’d given me some consideration for the change.

“Clean comfortable good value”

The place was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t spot anything I didn’t like about the property.

“Top dollar for mediocre offering.”

The room was clean and the bed comfortable; breakfast was standard but well prepared and the attendant was very good. However, there were no outlets on the desk, AC filters were left on top of the unit (I had to install them), no hand towels, a tiny fridge without a freezer that forced me to remove shelving to close the door, the swimming pool was drained and out of order, there was no main light switch and every light had to be turned on individually, and overall the stay felt very overpriced.
