The location, the staff’s friendliness, and the fact that they accept pets. The room had a carpet, but it was very clean; I just don’t like carpets.

Very good location (Julian is mainly focused on one street). 10 minutes on foot from the mine. The hotel’s charm and décor. Great welcome (make sure to inform them of your arrival time). Apart from the lobby being closed (it seems only open for check‑ins/arrivals), everything was perfect.

I was in the middle of Julian and the location was spot on, but the mattresses were okay—sleeping was fine, though an upgrade would have helped.

Sina (spelled that way) was excellent—very helpful and professional—and the spot was great, though it wasn’t meant for long stays, it worked for us overnight.
