The food was overpriced for very basic offerings, so I didn’t eat there. The place does not look as good as the pictures show and I felt it was overpriced; it’s a long walk after the ferry ride.

Seko was incredibly kind and helpful, arranging tours for me. The sunset view was lovely, especially with the cool night breeze. Carrying a suitcase was a bit of a hassle, but Seko and his team made it easier, so bring a light suitcase or backpack if you can.

On Elephantine Island, it feels like another world! The guest house is nice with a terrace. The only downside is the AC and fan are too loud. Still, the value for money is good.

It was fantastic. The island was quiet. We enjoyed a great boat trip to the Nubian village with the hotel’s help!

The property was very peaceful and relaxed. I slept well in the single room, and the air‑con worked wonders. The owner was very helpful, checking in regularly to see how I was doing, and the place offered good value for money. Wi‑Fi was not great.
