JMCL RESIDENCES

2nd time I booked the place. I think it's starting to be my favorite or go to place when staying in Tacloban. The kitchen is clean and free to use while water dispensers are just outside the rooms. Very friendly staff too. :)

The staff were great, and the vibe and atmosphere were solid. My room was very clean, and the neighbors kept the noise at a moderate level.

“It was okay but not recommended.”

I liked the bed. However, we were put on the third floor and the stairs were stiff. I was traveling with my two senior parents, and while the room could fit three people, the space felt cramped. There was no hot shower, the bidet water was weak, and there was no flush. The staff forgot to hand us bath towels.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The cooking facilities were fantastic, and the common area for eating, sitting, and relaxing was clean and pleasant. All the staff were kind and welcoming. The only downside was construction right next to our room from about 7am to 5pm each day, which spoiled what I thought would normally be a great ambience. We were exhausted from a rigorous schedule in previous weeks and were really looking for peace and quiet, which wasn’t achieved. Still, I’d stay again because construction won’t last forever and every other aspect was very good.

“One night stay was good. Need to change the door on the 3rd floor t&b. You cannot close ans lock”

The value for the money was good. The toilet and bath left something to be desired.
