The apartment is huge with everything you need, located very centrally in Allendorf, has a great modern bathroom, and check‑in is simple, but the sleeping area and bathroom are on two different floors connected by a narrow spiral staircase, which you should know about and may not suit everyone.

I spent one night there, it was clean, tidy, everything was available, the location is 200 m from the market where you can shop at a grocery store, the historic surroundings are impressive with many restaurants on the market, and a tasty breakfast is 300 m away at Jettes Brunnencafé – highly recommended!

The holiday apartment is centrally located in beautiful Allendorf, there’s a key box but we were personally welcomed very kindly, there was a storage spot for our bikes in the courtyard where you could also sit under a awning, the apartment’s equipment is very good and spacious, and we really enjoyed our stay.

The sleeping area with a double bed and two single beds is only reachable via a steep, narrow spiral staircase (which is structurally unavoidable), so it’s absolutely unsuitable for small children; the hot water in the bathroom comes from a boiler set at 21 °C, so if you’re unaware you’ll shower cold.

The location is great, communication with the landlord was smooth, the courtyard is nice and usable, overall very clean, but the beds were only okay for one night and the railing on the spiral staircase was poorly installed and rattled.
