The location, cleanliness, and staff friendliness were excellent, and nothing fell short of my expectations.

I had positives: yes. I had negatives: yes.
The room was well‑situated, though a bit noisy, yet it was interesting because you could watch the train at Gare de St. Lazare, and the nearby restaurants were cheap.
It was a great family‑run place. The staff were trustworthy and helpful; I left something behind and they kept it safe until I returned for my luggage. The amenities were clean, though some furniture felt a bit old, which didn’t bother me. Old French buildings mean the walls are paper‑thin—you can hear everything from outside. Given the fantastic location, price, and amazing staff, I would definitely return.
