The lodge sits perfectly for hikes in Zion National Park, surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop, and the restaurant is excellent for both dinner and breakfast.

It’s right in Springdale and just a few bus stops from the park; the lodge is nicely renovated and well designed, making for a comfortable stay at Zion’s gates, though the restaurant didn’t deliver great service despite its good design.

The spot is close to the bus stop and Zion NP, but I didn’t like paying $20 a day for parking when the room costs over $500 a night, and the Scout Bar & Grill was severely understaffed at both breakfast and dinner.
