Very cozy and steeped in history after almost 85 years, yet the room smelled a bit like the toilet pipes, even though everything else was renovated and fine.

The location and the very friendly staff stood out, but the beds were uncomfortable; the museum and all the décor, furniture needed dust‑cleaning, there were gold frames around the paintings, … it’s a shame that such a cool place isn’t maintained.

The location was good, but the hotel has a lot of potential and needs a major renovation already; everything feels very old, and breakfast and dinner are expensive for what they are.
