The location was ideal if you’re looking for peace, the shared kitchen was more than adequate, and the spacious room came with its own fridge, which was very pleasant. The bed might not meet 2026 standards, but that didn’t bother me personally.

The place had a great location, the owner was very kind and helpful, and the conversion of the farm into bedrooms was very creative. The communal kitchen was well-equipped so we could cook breakfast together. I wasn’t used to a shared bathroom at first, but after traveling around Scandinavia I got used to it; the bathroom was very clean.

It was pleasant, quiet, and comfortable with high build quality—clearly someone cared about the furnishings. However, the room still had a lingering cigarette smell, and the bathroom shower was about 2–2.5 cm lower than the rest of the floor to keep water in, so I stubbed my toe on that transition every time and it hurt.
