Everything was good overall. The location, staff, cleanliness, and appearance were all nice, and the price was reasonable. However, I found insects in the bed, and I got insect bites on my body. The bathroom was fine, but there was no soap or shampoo provided. This may be okay for local guests, but for international guests, basic toiletries like soap and shampoo should be available. The WiFi worked, but the sheets, rooms, and overall upkeep were filthy and basically nonexistent.

I didn’t like the place at all; it felt unsafe right from the reception, the building was a mess, especially regarding safety, and it seemed like a copy‑cat situation 😭. The rooms were dirty, smokers were outside, so I had to back out and rebook near Sea Point 🤔.

The location was good and the staff were friendly, but the accommodation wasn’t exactly as shown in the pictures – the sheets were dirty, the bathroom was poor, the cleaning service and overall comfort left a lot to be desired.
