A very beautiful place, a very clean room, and the meals (dinner or breakfast) are convivial and tasty. The cherry on top is the good mood and the sharing offered by the managers Alexandra and Luc, which make the stay memorable!
“Bel endroit”
Luc and Alexandra, who just took over the business, are absolutely exceptional hosts, both with their smiles and their welcome. Additionally, we shared an excellent meal prepared by Luc at a house‑guest table, complete with his sometimes touching memories! We recommend. Nothing.

Notre étape de notre lune de miel au Guétali après 3 jours dans Mafate fut exceptionnelle. Luc et Alexandra sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons eu la chance d'être parmi leurs premiers clients suite à la reprise du gite familial. Ils nous ont fait découvrir leurs parcours de vie et expliqué de nombreuses choses sur la Reunion (modes de vie locaux, produit locaux, histoire de leur famille.) Je recommande vivement une étape au Guétali après un périple dans Mafate ou Salazie ! La cuisine à base de produit locaux réalisée sur place est délicieuse et copieuse. Ils ont parfaitement su s'adapter aux allergies. Les chambres sont très propres. Ils ont été au top et ont le sens de l'accueil comme nous n'avons rarement vu. Encore un grand merci et à une prochaine fois au Guétali !!. TOUT EST PARFAIT !

“Belle parenthèse”
We loved the shared meal with other guests, especially the host’s lively storytelling about life on Réunion. It was a great time and delicious food, plus the morning view of Grand‑Ilet’s beautiful terrain. As hikers, we really appreciated having sheets and shower towels. We could also have breakfast before leaving, but we left too early for that. The only downside might be a modern refresh of the dining area, though the hosts already have many ideas to make the place even cozier.
