The room was spacious and well equipped, exactly what we needed, and the location was tranquil; our host was lovely. For a longer stay, a bit more space for clothing would be nice.

This place was amazing and truly exceeded my expectations; the cottage was immaculate, well‑decorated, cosy, and felt like a home away from home. The facilities were wonderful and clean, the garden made you feel like you were in another world, and the owner was friendly and a lovely person. If you’re thinking of booking in Riebeek‑Kasteel, I’d highly recommend this cottage because you won’t be disappointed. The only thing was that I couldn’t stay longer.

During my solo 50th birthday road trip I stayed here and it was everything I hoped for—spotless, comfortable, beautifully kept, and full of little luxuries. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe; the parking was secure, the cottage was private, and the whole place had a calm, cared‑for atmosphere. The facilities were wonderful, the bed super comfortable, the hot water amazing after long days on the road, and every detail felt thoughtfully done. Karin, my host, was absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. I loved my stay and would come back in a heartbeat.
