It’s a very pretty and original apartment with beautiful views. It’s too small – perfect for two people, impossible for four adults. It rained, there was no place to eat or sit, only two chairs and two towels.

The view is lovely and it’s quiet enough to just enjoy nature. The tiny space is well used and you get almost everything you need. There’s enough stuff to feed yourself and enjoy the view, and the blankets are essential because it gets cold. Payment is only via PayPal or a Costa Rican method. Inside there’s no comfortable seating when it’s too cold to sit outside; you can’t sit on the bar stool all evening and the only option is to go to bed early.

We spent our first night in Costa Rica here, and the morning view was dreamy. The room was a bit cool, but the blankets kept us warm. The shower only had cold water, which was a let‑down.
