The place was clean and tidy, but the hostel felt a bit cramped and the staff seemed a little on edge. I didn't feel much of a sense of community with other travelers.

The hostel sits in a private building a short walk from the city centre, with a courtyard and a separate entrance. On the ground floor there's a shared kitchen, a common area, and two bathrooms, each with a shower and sink; the sleeping area is upstairs in the attic. The whole thing is finished in wood, which I really liked, and everything is spotless. It's not a party hostel—it's a quiet, peaceful spot for a day or a few days while traveling through Transylvania. The location isn't in the city centre (about a 30–35‑minute walk), but it's handy if you want to be near the train and bus stations, and the A1 bus stop that serves the airport. Once in, you take off your shoes at the entrance and wear slippers (the property gives disposable hotel slippers if you don't have your own), which adds to the cozy vibe. There's no permanent reception desk, but all the check‑in details and practical tips are sent via WhatsApp or Booking Messenger. Breakfast is pretty decent: tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, cheese, salami and ham (really high quality), muesli ingredients, butter, cocoa spread, nut spread, and confiture, plus capsule coffee, tea, and milk—a filling meal! The bed linen is spotless and smells fresh, and a large towel is included. Wi‑Fi works well. I stayed there in September during cooler, rainy weather; the attic was warm and I could crack the window for fresh air, but on hot days it might get a bit stuffy even with air conditioning. The hostel isn't large, so during peak season you might have to wait for the bathroom—there are only two of them. Watch out on the stairs—they're tricky.

I stayed at the cleanest hostel I've ever visited, and it felt like a big living room—super cozy. Making friends here was effortless, and the friendly host even served a tasty breakfast. Definitely a must-visit!

The facilities were great and the staff lovely. They let me keep my bags at the property instead of using luggage storage. The garden was gorgeous for wholesome mornings, and buses to town and the bus station ran frequently. Breakfast was excellent. There are only two bathrooms, but I didn't have any problems with that.

The room was super neat and aesthetic, as was the rest of the house. The common areas were always clean, and the breakfast was good. The train station is a ten‑minute walk away, and the bus stop to the city centre is less than five minutes.
