The receptionist was very professional, patient, and kind. The view was extraordinary, and the venue suited a family gathering. We were disappointed because we had been told we could ask the cook to prepare a goûter upon arrival, but the cook wasn’t there, so that didn’t happen. The receptionist kindly let us have tea on site and bring in outside food, which we appreciated. Dinner wasn’t possible either, which was disappointing. Overall, we liked the receptionist’s kindness and the beautiful setting, but better communication and availability of the promised food services would have made the gathering more enjoyable.
