“Beautiful views and amazing staff”

We spent two wonderful nights at Akagera Rhino Lodge and truly enjoyed everything. The lodge sits in a peaceful, beautiful setting with stunning views of Lake Ihema and its surroundings. Our tent was very spacious and comfortable, featuring a lovely private bathroom with a nice shower. The staff made the stay especially pleasant; everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, with special thanks to Aimee. We felt right at home and it was clear they genuinely cared about our needs, making our stay even more special. The food was amazing, and we especially liked relaxing around the campfire in the evening. The swimming pool is a real plus – a wonderful spot to cool down and unwind. The lodge’s location is also convenient for visiting Akagera National Park, making it a great base for a safari. We would definitely recommend Akagera Rhino Lodge to anyone visiting Akagera; we had a lovely experience and would happily return.
