“We will not stay there again”

The room looked clean and they let us keep our bicycles inside; the staff were nice. However, the bedroom smelled moldy, the pool water looked oily, the staff said it was okay and it was because of humidity, the pool room smelled moldy, there was no smell of chlorine at all, the vent in the entry was dusty and dirty, the carpet on the stairwells had lots of sandy‑looking dirt on them, the back stairwell was very dusty, the laundry room was dirty, the wash machine had laundry detergent all over it, the top of the dryer was dirty as was the floor, and the trash was full.

I like how close to the bike trail it was. For the price I paid, it wasn't that great. I had a suit with a hot tub in the room and 3 of the 6 jests didn't work and the room was constantly muggy and smelled like mildew. I give it grace since it is an older building, but I worked in the hotel business for several years and I was disappointed of the room for the price I paid. Otherwise the staff was friendly

“Very uncomfortable beds, not the cleanest, items lost after checkout.”

The location was convenient because it was close to my son’s place. Unfortunately, my special orthopedic pillow was left behind after check‑out. I called the next morning, was told to call back after 10:30, and then called back around 3:45. I was told to wait another five minutes and then another hour and 30 minutes, only to be told that the pillow was gone. The beds were uncomfortable spring types, the deluxe room was not up to par, and the couch was dirty and unsuitable for resting. The heated pool was too cold to enter, and the glass in the pool area wasn’t fogged up. Overall, I was disappointed and will look for other accommodations when visiting family again.
