“Could have been better”
The bar/restaurant area had a cozy, homey vibe and the staff were very pleasant, but the bar shut down at 11 pm and the place stayed empty until the next day’s opening; there were no tea bags or instant coffee in the room, especially no decaf, only a pod coffee maker that didn’t offer decaf; the small tray was empty except for two sugars and four milks.
The room was comfortable with good facilities like a kettle and coffee, and the proximity to our relatives’ home was convenient, yet the hot water tap stopped working until the second night, the curtains didn’t fit properly, and the wallpaper was peeling in some spots.
The room was spotless and stocked with plenty of toiletries; the bathroom featured modern fixtures and no noisy extractor fans. The hotel stayed quiet at night and we slept soundly on both nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, making it a cozy place to stay. However, breakfast was limited to pastries, tea, and coffee left in the room—no hot dishes. Some rooms face the interior, offering a view of a small void space above the roof.

The place works best for younger travelers. I reached the bedroom on the upper floor and the staff member helped me with my luggage, but when I checked out, nobody was around and almost left me stranded. Parking is located at the rear, forcing you to walk all the way around to reach it. I was hoping for a nice cooked breakfast, but they advertised a continental spread that was hardly anything. The stairs are steep, there's no lift, and the breakfast was underwhelming.
