“Cosy and relaxing”
The room was spotless and cosy, the host was very kind, and communication was very efficient.
The owner didn't linger, just let us in and gave us the freedom to sort things out on our own. The spot is quiet, and the drive up is a bit steep but that's not really something we can change.
“Garden room - blissful!”
The location is beautifully quiet. When I opened the curtains, an inquisitive sheep was grazing in the field next door. The bed was large and comfortable, and the quilt was warm without feeling heavy. The water was hot, and both the bathroom and shower were excellent. The only small gripe is that a toaster would have been nice, since there's only a microwave for cooking.
It was tucked away, quiet, airy, and spacious. The makeshift washing up was fine on a sunny day, but it was less pleasant when it rained.
The room was spotless and cozy, with everything we needed for a short stay. The nearby villages are great for walking or short drives, and the hosts were friendly when we met them. However, the place was marketed as a garden room, so I expected a more private garden. The garden wasn't fenced or very secluded, and there was a lot of dog mess on the lawn. Also, there was no outdoor light, no table, and no small fire pit to keep warm, so we had to head inside earlier than we wanted. A few minor fixes would make a big difference.
