I was left waiting in the car for a quarter of an hour because the host, who thought we were arriving the next day, hurriedly set up the rental space before opening the gate. She then denied us access to the kitchen by inventing a 5‑night minimum rule, even though the kitchen was listed and shown in the photos as part of what we paid for. There was no fridge, no kettle, no tea, no cutlery, and nothing to keep food cold or cook with; the only “furnishing” was a small table and two chairs meant for three, which we chose to use elsewhere. The cabin was in a bland subdivision with no shops and no charm. Inside the space, the air was saturated with harsh vanilla and red‑fruit scented air fresheners that clung to sheets and furniture, making it hard to breathe. The Wi‑Fi was spotty and there were very few power outlets, which convinced us that if we had known, we would never have come. This Airbnb was not a guesthouse or a bed‑and‑breakfast, and the experience was too expensive compared to all the fantastic rentals we stayed at that week.

The welcome was very warm, and breakfast was generous and sweet, complete with pleasant surprises on the table. The hostess was very friendly.

“Un excellent choix”

We chose the place because it was close to the cabaret "la plume rouge." The reception was excellent, and we stayed in a separate part of the house. The bed was very good and the bathroom lovely.
