The building was modern and within walking distance of Myeongdong, but it felt packed for six people, and there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom; it’s best for up to three or four guests, though it could still be more convenient.

The room was roomy enough for my family of four, including two kids, and the washer and dryer were a real bonus; having two bedrooms worked well with a 10‑month‑old baby who could nap during the day, and the staff were quick to answer any questions we had, so I can’t think of any negatives.

The spot was excellent, close to transport and still quiet.

I stayed in a spot that was clean and well‑located, but the emergency light in the glass‑lined room made it hard to sleep.
