The place is a bit isolated but definitely worth the detour! Mister Blom will take you on a fantastic day around Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak, which is much more enjoyable than being in the middle of the crowd or groups. When we arrive, we’re a bit surprised by the distance from Ella’s center, and the Wi‑Fi on the 3rd floor isn’t great.

This family hotel offers an excellent stay with a stunning view over the surrounding mountains. The room was spacious, spotless, and featured a huge terrace. The place feels like a family home; the uncle runs the business and prepares tasty meals. Mr. Bloom guides you around the village, showing everything worth seeing: Eagle's Rock, Ravana Waterfall, tea plantations, and even a secret swimming pool on the river. He can take you wherever you want by tuk‑tuk or private car. Overall, a very relaxing experience.

Rawana Mount View Hotel is a wonderful place to stay! The mountain views are stunning, and the hotel’s unique design makes it special. We really enjoyed the village tour with Mr. Blom, the short hike to Eagle Rock Mountain gave us breathtaking views, and the Upper Rawana natural pool was another highlight—bathing there was so refreshing! We also loved the cooking activities, which gave us a real taste of Sri Lankan flavors. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. This hotel is a true hidden gem surrounded by nature, paddy fields, and local culture, away from the busy city life. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a peaceful and authentic Sri Lankan experience.

If you are looking for a real Sri Lankan experience this is where you should go. The hotel is located in a beautiful Sri Lankan village and has amazing views over the jungle and rocky mountains. The food is freshly made, authentic and plentyful served with much care. The waterfall and views hike with Laksman Blom was the highlight of our stay. He is such an enthousiastic and kind guide and a very knowlegdable local legend. He's the go to person for everything and we loved spending time with him and even met his mother in her home!. A minor improvement could be the care of the rooms facilities. Clean cups, towels, toiletpaper and water is nice to have each day!
