I booked and paid on arrival, the gate was not opened, so I didn’t sleep there and my money wasn’t refunded until today.

When we arrived they said the system was down and asked us to pay a higher rate, which was more than the advertised rate, and they eventually found us another place; the time it took them to communicate was frustrating.

“Improvement needed”

I liked that it was closer to the shopping mall, but everything from check‑in onward was a mess: the receptionist was unhappy I had booked, told me the rates were different from theirs, which I felt was not my problem; the bedding wasn’t clean, pillow cases were torn, there was no hot water in the shower, the iron didn’t work, and the yard was very dirty and poorly maintained.

“A home away from home”

The bathroom is stunning, with hot water and essentials like shampoo, body wash, and body lotion. The bed comes with electric blankets and the best TV channels. I arrived 1h30 after check‑in because of Intercape bus delays, and the staff kindly waited for me. They prioritized my safety as a traveler with kids and still gave me a warm welcome. The host got along very well with my 4‑year‑old boy. The ceiling fan didn’t keep up with the December heat, so I hope they’ll replace it with an air‑con soon.

The place inside and outside is very well kept, and the reception staff are professional and friendly.
