The breakfast was fine, but the location isn’t ideal because it’s far away, on a narrow road full of curves and steep slopes. The place’s location, as I mentioned before, is the main drawback.

A solid choice for an overnight stop if you’re hiking the GR10; the food was fantastic—one of the best meals we had on the trek. The gentleman who runs the gite is friendly, helpful, and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. The gite sits in a pretty spot with great views of the surrounding mountains in the picturesque village of Goulier and has a lovely garden. Everything else was fine; since it’s a gite in the mountains, the rooms are simple.

A small mountain village from another era, beautiful. We were very well received by a gentleman, then we ate an exceptional meal, a cuisine from a lady with incredible talent. Bravo, we spent the night and left feeling great on our GR10.
