Wingate by Wyndham Shreveport Airport

It was a good price & breakfast offering was ok. The two times we actually saw someone at the front desk they were very nice. The smell of marijuana in the lobby and our floor, room was better. Elevator had issues so would have to go up before we could go down to the lobby. Very large cockroach ran in front of me in the hall just outside our room. There was rarely someone at the front desk & for being there 3 nights that was surprising to not have someone there when we were coming/going. No ice machine on our floor & the other we found by lobby didn't work. Pool was green. The pillows were a joke so we went and bought some. They only filled about half the pillow case so what was four pillows only looked like two & there weren't extras. The room only had 3 hangers, two people for 3 nights need more than that

I only used it to sleep while traveling, nothing else to like, and I’ll never stay again or recommend it. The door between rooms didn’t lock properly; my wife and I finally managed to lock it after about five minutes, and the shower was filthy with tape covering holes in the walls.

The location is convenient, yet the place feels run down, the pool is out of commission, the window covering can’t be opened, and there was mold on the bagel at breakfast – overall a disappointment with the facility.

“Excellent breakfast not amazing staff”

The woman at the desk that afternoon was rude, talking on her phone like it mattered more than her job; when my Doordash food arrived I didn’t get any silverware, I asked for a couple forks and she said yes, but I only received spoons, which is frustrating – she could’ve just grabbed a few plastic forks from the store. It was fine otherwise.
