“Beautiful location stunning views spacious room but the breakfast service was below standard & price”

The hotel’s vistas were genuinely beautiful, and we liked them even without a balcony room. Our room was spacious, well‑furnished and thoughtfully designed. The location was excellent—easy to navigate and conveniently close to Hatu Temple and other local attractions, making exploration effortless. However, our buffet experience on both mornings fell far below the standard we expected, especially after paying $35,000 for two nights including breakfast. On the first morning, no server was present at 10:00 AM and every station was empty, which was not the welcoming start we hoped for. The overall service attitude was noticeably unwelcoming; staff showed no warmth or initiative, a stark contrast to the attentive, gracious service we’ve experienced at comparable properties. On the second morning, while my husband was caring for our sick son in the room, I asked the server to pack breakfast for them, but I was flatly told that packing was not possible—no alternative offered, no empathy shown. A simple gesture of flexibility would have meant a great deal. What surprised me most was being charged for my young son’s milk. Not only is charging for a child’s milk unexpected at this level of hospitality, but the bill itself had the item crossed out in pen with “milk” written over “tea,” suggesting the property had no system to process this charge properly, yet still proceeded to bill us. We have stayed at many properties and always appreciated servers who take genuine pride in their role; that pride and warmth was simply absent here. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the property itself has great potential and we would welcome the opportunity to return under improved service conditions.

The property was okay. Room service, food, and untrained staff made for an overall bad experience.

“Narkanda is a lovely place and if Greenberry hotel can get its act together it can be very successful but needs to impro”

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a lovely premium feel to it, with spacious and comfortable rooms offering stunning views. However, my experience was marred by a few issues, including the fact that my room wasn't cleaned automatically during our day out, and I had to specifically request it in the evening.
