The staff were great; I checked in at 1.30 am after a delayed flight and they were very helpful. The only downside was that there was nothing in the room to hang clothes on.

The hotel is very close to Trivandrum airport—just a few hundred meters—so I could walk there after checking in at 2.30 pm. The staff were friendly and helped carry my heavy luggage up the stairs to the room, and they even woke me at 2.15 am because I was worried I might miss my alarm; they promised to check if I woke up and they did. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and there were no towels or sheets—only undersheets.

I chose this property because it’s near the international airport and booked a single room that was small but cosy, with a desk, water, a glass, and a clean bed. The only issue was that there was no bedsheet to cover myself; the bathroom was spotless but simple, lacking a towel and soap. I also heard dogs bark for a while.
