Since I arrived, I felt at home and cared for by each of them, like a little girl being pampered. I stayed longer than expected thanks to the ancestral medicine offered by doña Nora, which makes this world better and lights the path. The inn is a magical spot that connects you with yourself and mother nature, away from noise, surrounded by mountains. I’ll definitely return and share this wonderful space with people looking for more than accommodation, seeking self‑knowledge and the ancestral culture of Putumayo. I’ll be infinitely grateful to everyone.

I spent an unforgettable week at Pousada Kauai that felt more like an experience than a stay, thanks to Nora and the whole team who made me feel safe, relaxed and in tune with the place’s energy; the food was delicious, the rooms ultra‑comfortable, and the view from the top of the pousada over the nature was stunning. Nora’s guidance was exceptional—her use of medicinal plants, closing ceremonies and sharing of indigenous knowledge felt powerful, and I’m grateful beyond words, “Asi es la vida.” Everything was flawless.
The place is exactly as described elsewhere: absolutely fantastic host, quiet and charming for the price. Nora even sat down with us for dinner and breakfast together, always sharing something interesting.
