A simple and nice hotel near the Taranaki mountain, with parking available. The room was clean and pleasant, and the shared bathroom was right in front. There’s also a common lounge and a kitchen with basic appliances (kettle, MZ, toaster, cups, dishes, cutlery). The host supplied extra heating for the kitchen.

The reception was good, everything was very clean and tidy, and the staff were really helpful and served a great meal. The stairs were a downside.

The place was clean, tidy, and a solid fit for my needs, and the staff were friendly. I’d rather have my own bathroom, but the price per night is so good that it’s just a personal preference; the bathrooms were clean and every guest was courteous.
