We spent a night at Le Vieux Tilleul during our motorcycle trip from 8 to 9 September, paying around 420 € for four people including breakfast. The rustic décor matched the house’s character, but much of it felt clearly aged. The balcony where dinner was served was especially disappointing: the wooden planks were badly weathered, with large cracks and damaged spots, giving a careless and untrustworthy vibe. The bathroom was very old, yet everything worked. At that price we expected a much better state of upkeep and facilities. The house and surroundings could have had charm, but the value for money didn’t fit our expectations. Overall, this stay was a let‑down for us at that cost.

The place was very nice, the vehicle was securely parked in nature, the dinner was great at a reasonable price. The only issue was that there was no television.

The staff, the sense of service, and the products served were excellent, but if you could think about putting a power outlet at the head of the bed that would be great.
