The staff were very friendly and the value for money was good. The food was excellent, especially the dumplings and the smoked pork shoulder. The service was attentive and the room was quite special, though the bathroom could use some improvement. The bathroom was small and functional.

I had no phone reception, the booking was confirmed but the hotel didn’t even answer the call. We had to find another place to stay at the last minute. How is that even possible?

The hotel was great, the owners welcomed us warmly. There are both modern and authentically decorated rooms; we slept in a room with a canopy bed. The rooms were very clean with excellent beds. It’s worth having dinner in the Stube, prepared superbly by the owner. Arrive on time because the kitchen closes early. Plenty of parking is available at the hotel.

Our last overnight on the Pilgerweg couldn’t have been better! The host was super nice, the welcome heartfelt, the rooms clean and comfortable with cozy beds, and the breakfast was incredibly tasty for a great price. Pilgrim stamps are also available. We felt completely at ease and can recommend the place without reservation – 10 out of 10 stars! Simply perfect! ❤️
