The place was spotless and the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the location makes you feel uneasy if you’re traveling alone during the off‑season and walking around by yourself.
This was the cleanest, most modern room I’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the shower was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and served a great breakfast.

I love how close it was to the beaches and how cozy the place feels. Everything stayed clean, and our room even had a small kitchenette.
We enjoyed a fantastic stay here; the spot is serene yet close to everything we needed, and the breakfasts were fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared, turning each morning into a special treat. The overall vibe was warm and inviting, everything stayed clean and well‑kept, and it felt like a peaceful home away from home. We’d gladly return and strongly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, enjoyable stay. ❤️

Mellow Yellow is brilliant; the room was immaculate and looked newly finished. The spot is only a 3‑minute tuk‑tuk ride from all the popular cafés and restaurants, making it super convenient. Staying here let us discover a new beach club each day instead of paying a lot for a single spot that can get dull. The owners are a lovely family who are very welcoming. The only drawback is the main‑road location, so traffic can be heard, but the fan at night helps drown it out.
