The place was comfy, welcoming, quiet, and tastefully decorated. The staff were flawless, making the whole stay easy with our baby from check‑in onward. Breakfast was homemade, modest in portion and variety, but tasty!

What a perfect spot right inside the ancient walls of Castelo de Rodrigo! Our host was sincere, welcoming, and friendly. The room itself was gorgeous and private, complete with a little garden. We liked the face cloths, drinking water, and all the toiletries that were provided. After a hot day on our motorbike, the refreshing pool was a welcome relief. We were treated to a delicious homemade five‑course dinner, great wine, and a beautiful sunset. After dinner, the streets of the ancient village were all ours. Breakfast was very good. We will definitely return to this beautiful place!

The accommodation is in an amazing location. The rooms and food are great. We ate each night on the beautiful veranda. Ana has a passion and knowledge for both local nature and history, organizing trips for us to see the Griffon Vultures and taking us to see the incredible Cave Art in the Coa Valley, making the stay truly memorable. Ana and all the staff went the extra mile to cater for my husband’s dietary needs – thank you. Nothing.

The service, the food, we felt at home. Everything was perfect. The village is idyllic. The rooms were renovated with very good taste. The only thing to improve is that the wifi didn’t reach the room.
