We stayed for one night while cycling around Storath. The Bed & Bike was lovely and the location is great for exploring the Rhön on other paths. The ladies on site were attentive and friendly. They even opened the kitchen for us and cooked a tasty dinner. Here the guest is king, and that feels like every moment.

The family suite was spacious, and we were lucky to stay on the restaurant’s off‑day (Monday). The door faces the beer garden, so it could get noisy when the garden is open. The key hand‑over was scheduled for 16:00, but no one was available until 16:20. The shower partition was heavily soiled with black mold, the shower head couldn’t lock properly, and turning it on sprayed water over the partition, flooding the bathroom floor. One of the main light bulbs flickered.
The staff were very nice and friendly.
The hotel was very flexible.

The family was very friendly, and even on the off‑day I still got a drink. The rooms were tastefully renovated, breakfast was sufficient and cheap, and the coffee tasted great. The location is somewhat remote, depending on what you want to do, and the restaurant had a closed day, which is understandable.
