This place is a hidden gem in Moalboal, tucked away in a peaceful spot just a short walk from the crystal‑clear beach and a great local restaurant with tasty food. The host’s attention to every detail—from interior design to daily customer care—creates a wonderful atmosphere and service. I can’t ask for more and I’ll definitely return for my next trip.

The place was spotlessly clean and just a stone's throw from a beach where we swam with turtles! Breakfast was tasty and the welcome was pleasant. The downside was that the bathroom in the garden meant running into big spiders when using the toilet at night… that’s just part of staying in this type of accommodation.

We spent four nights at Herbs Guesthouse and felt right at home! The host was warm and open, and we always had good conversations. The huts were very authentic, spotless, and the bathroom was a dream—an outdoor shower under the open sky with almost no insects. Laundry could be dropped off and a scooter rented, perfect for walking into town. We could also order food from a nearby restaurant, and the host herself made breakfast, which was delicious (yogurt, granola, mango, banana bowls…). On site, tours were offered and there were plenty of games and books to borrow (darts, chess…). All in all, a top homestay that I’d highly recommend and it’s absolutely fair for the price. Everything was great.

Breakfast was excellent. There was no air conditioning and the room wasn’t cleaned for a week.

The bamboo bungalows are simple but beautifully set up. If you love nature, this is the spot for you. Everything was clean and our stay was fantastic! The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
