The Bepou Tower was conveniently located for sightseeing, the temperature was comfortable, and the bed was clean. The dial lock was a hassle, and I was surprised when a child, out of curiosity, opened the curtain and peeked in.

“Great budget stay if you don’t have much luggage!”

The spot was excellent and everything stayed spotless. It was hard to spot staff unless they were at the desk or acknowledged you first because they wore casual clothes, but since it was my first hostel experience, it felt quite unique. The lockers were cramped; you couldn't fit your luggage or open it if someone passed by. I stayed two nights and never received fresh towels on the second day—apparently I had to ask. I happened to have a fresh towel from an onsen, so I didn’t investigate the process, which was a bit unclear.

The cubicles were all nice, the toilets were clean, and the bedroom was quiet. You have to leave the room between 10 and 15 minutes, even if you stay multiple nights, because of housekeeping.

“고만고만~”

The staff were friendly!!! There are more than 60 dorm beds in one area, and it was lucky that there weren’t many guests in the off‑season, but in peak season it would be terrible. The kitchen and lobby are cramped compared to the number of beds. Light‑weight guests bring a convenience store lunch and a can of beer for dinner, but they can only drink the hotel’s own beer, as the place has posted bans everywhere.
