Half an hour’s walk from the old town, which is nice to stroll along the river. The room was a bit warm, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine, and the shared toilets were also fine.

The amenities were good, the director was kind, and the room was fine. The walls were fairly thin. A waitress at the restaurant treated me and the people I invited with hostility unlike anything I’d seen before, so we had to leave. The other staff were particularly nice and friendly. It isn’t the servers’ job to lift people’s spirits if they don’t feel like it, nor should customers expect the servers to be psychologists. The feeling you get while eating is as important as the food itself. It isn’t a rush hour issue, which still wouldn’t justify the behavior. For me it’s unacceptable to pay to be treated poorly. The vanilla ice cream was DELICIOUS. Until the last day my key to the sauna and pool didn’t work. The internal staff were quite judgmental, and the queue system didn’t seem to work in my opinion. This lowered the quality of my stay in an otherwise splendid place I would return to. They also stole my wallet, but I’m not sure if it happened at the entrance or at the train station.
