The hotel is magnificent. The gardens, buildings, and décor are truly incredible. The location, close to the metro, is also very convenient for exploring the city. The service doesn’t match the host’s standard. Communication is difficult; even at reception, staff don’t speak English.

Everything. The breakfast buffet is huge. Photoshoot, very nice hotel, with airport transfer. Nothing negative.

A sprawling hotel complex close to the airport, surrounded by plenty of greenery between the buildings. The vibe is great, the architecture feels like the palaces of old China. The metro is almost across the street, and you’re in downtown Shanghai in half an hour. There’s a free airport shuttle and free water. The breakfast buffet offered an enormous selection. The room, especially the bathroom, was very luxuriously furnished with plenty of space. The room was supposed to have a veranda, but it only had a normal window, so we couldn’t step outside. We were excited about the pool, but we couldn’t enter because we didn’t bring a swim cap ☹ Also, the fact that we had to pay a deposit as a security was something that could have been communicated earlier; it surprised us unpleasantly.
