I appreciated that this was a community inn that provides jobs and attracts tourists, giving it a warm, comfortable, and friendly vibe; the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, but the rooms could use updated, more comfortable furnishings and better lighting.

The entire experience was an absolute joy; the room was spotless and met all our needs, the staff and community were exceptional—thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome—and the food was local and delicious, with nothing to dislike.

The inn’s remote location gives it a unique, community‑trust vibe with gorgeous views and a cozy feel. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the food is excellent—especially the mussels—and the pub offers a good selection of beers on tap and other drinks. The manager and staff are true gems. There’s nothing luxurious here, so don’t expect that, but it’s more than enough for what I needed. It’s a great spot for sea kayakers who want better weather conditions than we had in September.

The location is superb, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and locally sourced, and there’s a great selection of draft beers and other drinks.

The room is fairly spacious and comfortable, and it’s parked right in front of the entrance. The mattress is uncomfortable, the restaurant service is slow and sloppy, and unfortunately there are no other dining options nearby.
