It was my wife’s birthday, so I arranged balloons and banners that the staff placed in my room as a surprise for her; I’m very grateful for that. They were very helpful.

“Food was very good, fresh and very well home made. Bar very cosy with open fire. Drinks very expensive.”

The setting is beautiful. However, my bedroom door didn’t lock from the inside and was very hard to lock from the outside. In the evening I had to put a chair against the door with my suitcase on it to make sure it wouldn’t open easily. The wallpaper is thin and I could hear people on both sides of me. The door didn’t fit well and someone could wake me up by loudly knocking on the neighboring door at night, so close I could hear them breathing. I didn’t sleep much more that night.
