“Mauvaise adresse, mauvais établissement”
The cleaning lady took great care throughout the stay, and the restaurant staff were very accommodating. The Palace of Fes location is convenient for pick‑ups. We had booked a stay at Riad Almaz with a pool, but we barely made it to the address listed on the site with help from a local, no signs or anything to point us to the riad. Luckily someone from the Palace of Fes came to help. The phone number was unreachable. A lady finally answered on the site, saying they were coming to pick us up to supposedly “upgrade” us to the Palace of Fes. In short, Riad Almaz no longer exists. Moreover, we didn’t get to use the pool because it is private.
The staff tried to move us to a room that was far worse than the one we had booked. We had to negotiate to get the original room after they took us through two even poorer rooms. The photos on the site do not represent what you’ll actually get, as they shift you around to the cheapest options at will.
Hard to find, but inside it’s beautiful and stylish. One night is fine, but more than that is definitely not. Breakfasts at the nearby palace are great.
Nous avons été surclassé dans 1 riad plus prêt de la grande place Le palais de fes donc je ne peux pas évaluer ce riad En tous cas le riad est splendide, propre et proche des restaurants. Rien
“Prima plek om tot rust te komen.”
Nice and spacious rooms. A lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the busy medina. No confirmation that you’re in the right place when you’re standing outside the door. The name of the Riad isn’t visible on the exterior anywhere.
