“calme et volupté”

We were drawn to the idea of staying in a beautifully furnished container, and when we saw that our dog was welcome, we were thrilled. The concept of this type of accommodation is brilliant. It’s very pretty and quiet, the beach is just a few meters away, there’s a great restaurant, and the breakfast is good. The stay was perfect. The only downside is that no one speaks French; everyone speaks English or Portuguese.

“Voortreffelijk.”

The resort offers peace, the beach, comfort, luxury, ambiance, and an excellent, very extensive breakfast that even included chia pudding and overnight oats :-0. You feel like a king when you stay here. The staff is super! I had seen some criticism in the reviews before, but it seems they listened and there was nothing else to find. And it’s nice that you get a free consumptive if you choose not to have your room cleaned that day. The resort is only one year old, so the greenery was not fully mature, giving less privacy, but fortunately the curtains were raised so passing guests couldn’t see directly into your bedroom. The air‑conditioning could barely keep the heat out when the sun shone on the window. The restaurant was mediocre for dinner and lunch. Still, a solid ten for this resort.

The accommodation was really good! We stayed several days, but the restaurant’s menu was limited and the same for lunch and dinner, so it got a bit dull to eat the same thing. The food was, however, well cooked.
