I spent a fantastic week at OYO Dongdaemun 1, where Haesa was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is great, it’s clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed my time there. I’d happily return!

The hostel sits in a great spot—close to the subway, the palaces, Gwangjang Market, and DDP. The receptionists were very nice and helpful, and the rooftop is always available with a nice view.

The staff were very kind and pleasant. The bunk beds were noisy, and climbing the stairs to the 4th and 5th floors was difficult since there were no elevators.

The property is just a few steps from the metro. The room is cozy and clean, and the common room on the top floor is small but very cute. Breakfast includes bread, butter, jam, milk, coffee, and juices from 8 to 11. The best part is the staff: the reception girls are extremely friendly. It would be better to have breakfast available before 8, a small kitchen for guests to prepare their own meals, and a bathroom available after check‑out.
