“Fine and dandy”

The location was unbeatable—easy to spot even after hours, and close to where we ate. The staff were super friendly, we enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the coffee was surprisingly excellent, keeping us going through a tough six‑mile hike that morning. The only gripe was that I’d have preferred a glass instead of a paper cup for my evening bourbon on the rocks; it’s a small detail, but it adds class and a home‑like feel for a weary traveler.
