“Cute, cozy place to stay”
The bar food was great and the room was clean, but the beds could be softer and more hooks would help hang things. The old-fashioned keys for opening and locking the doors were a nuisance.
“Great base for exploring. Eat breakfast elsewhere.”
Near Oban, the old hotel is charming, the staff were courteous, and the room was spacious enough for a family. The breakfast could have been better.

Location is excellent. The price for a stopover a little high but as a treat it’s spot on

Parking was straightforward, drinks were reasonably priced, the food tasted good, and the staff were very friendly and polite. The room was cramped, the bed was uncomfortable, it stayed warm, and we could hear the floorboards above creak and people snore all night. Breakfast was dry.
“Would not stay here again, very disappointed, we did a tour of Scotland and this property was by far the worst”
The spot was nice, but the room felt tired and soulless, and even though I paid for a view, the window was so dirty it made no sense. The breakfast was almost inedible.
